Edit problem with Milo 1.2.2

Hi, my problem is that I can't edit anything on the page. Edit button turns to green but can't get any blocks to edit mode or add block to page. I updated the core from 8.5.12 to 8.5.17 but it didn't help. My coder said that the problem links to Velocity jquery where link url was unsecure (http). He fixed the url to https but there occured another jquery error.

I'll hope someone can check this on my site if it is fixable. I am not asking this job for free support, I can pay for your service.

I have there public pages used another theme (editing works) and Log in pages (Hygienepassport Course) where edit is not working. I think I have to give credentials to the page as admin. Can I send it to email?

Hi Pedro. We've taken a look at your site using your login and identified your error. We strongly believe that this may be an issue with the way the navigation system has been configured. We believe (but can't be sure without access to the source code and testing it) that the error may be occuring as a conflict with the mobile menu due to the absence of primary navigation. I see that the concrete5 site is nestled within another non Concrete site.

Unfortunately, as version 8 is now end-of-lifed, we can no longer release updates to the app store for it. As such, our recommended route would be to update your concreteCMS to version 9 and use the latest version of the Milo theme. The CSS is quite different in version 9, and I don't think you'll have the same issue. Also, if the issue does persist after the version 9 upgrade, we would be able to work on and release an update to the theme at no charge.

Make sure you take a backup of your site as the differences between version 8 and version 9 are many and there are major differences in how templates work. As such, this may not be something you wish to do unless you have previous experience with version 9 templating.

If you need to stick with the version 8 concrete5 system, we can also offer paid consultancy as we support, host and maintain legacy sites on versions of concrete as old as version 6. It's difficult to "guesstimate" this particular one without seeing the code and testing a few scenarios but my guess is would be around 3 to 5 hours to setup in a staging environment, diagnose and fix. If you would like a quote, please let me know and I will contact you via email.

Hi again, one question.

I have made a copy of my site and update it to latest v9 version. I have also assigned the licenses to this site on the Marketplace. But when I try to extend Concrete for update themes and add-ons there comes nothing to update.

Should I have to buy a new Milo theme (v9) instead of trying to update purchased v8 version?

We don't get involved in the ways that Portland handles licensing, but I am sure that you don't need to buy a new license. Please try unassigning and reassigning the license to your project.

Hello, I continue with this support ticket.
I have now updated my site from v8 to v9. I had to buy a new license for Milo theme.

Now I have after update two problems:

1. How can I change the body font?

Need to get it bigger, but there is no font size at Custom skin. Where I can find right css style file to modify via ftp?
There is also some problem, when I try to modify anything on Custom skin there comes error:

variable @p-type-font-size is undefined in file /var/www/clients/client106/web2296/web/packages/ds_milo/themes/milo/css/typography.less in typography.less on line 6, column 16 4| color: @p-type-color; 5| font-family: @p-type-font-family; 6| font-size: @p-type-font-size; 7| font-weight: @p-type-font-weight; 8| h1, 9| h2,

2. Images not responsive in the content area

When I change the browser window width smaller the images inside the Content area flattens. This looks stupid especially on mobile view.

Earlier if I left out image size (width, height) it scales down nicely.
 This might be more a core problem. There’s 2 old jquery errors and 1 warning. So there might be something wrong in my site what prevents these working normally.

Do you think you can look at these?
I made a copy of the site as development site v9.

In changing the body font size you can edit in the Page setting -> Design -> Customize -> Default preset or the preset you already edited. Then you can go to the Headings tab where you can edit the Paragraph settings Screenshot. May I know what PHP version that you are using in the website? So I can see and try to see for myself what could be the problem.

As for the image not responsive, can I view the development site v9 so I can investigate on what be the problem?

I have checked the development site that you gave and was able to login and clear the website cache and tried to see again for the Paragraph settings for the font size and was able to see the option. Here is the screenshot. Let me know if this helps.

Hi, I'll get back to you with this. The font size is available now but if I make any changes to the font (or edit something onthe custom skin) there comes error 'Call to a member function getUserEmail() on null'.

Very often when I edit something on the site I cannot publish or save changes – green pencil is white and not clicable.
Also all images do not scale down as they should, those get flatten if they are bigger than the content width.

So I suppose there is something wrong on this site after update v9. When I look browser inspector there comes 3 warnings – one missing jquery url and two bootstrap map problems.

These warnings might not belong to Milo theme maybe they belong to some old add-on but those prevent now the theme work properly.
So I hope you can look these again. And tell me if this is fixable and can you do it for me? I am ready to pay for your help of course.

Upon further investigation, the cause why errors and bugs that are showing right now in the website is some of the plugins installed might not compatible anymore with current installed version 9 of concreteCMS and that is why those errors where showing up and some of the functions are not working as expected.
