Scout Association branding Colour change.

Hello, I am trying to customize the crimson theme for our Scout website that I am updating.

This is a staging site, our live site uses the Casual theme and can be found here.

How do I change the settings in the customization menu for mobile devices in the Crimson theme, to change the backgrounds in the below image from black to white or another colour, and is it possible to change the colour of the accordion type thing from red to purple. We have guidelines about branding and colours we can use from the Scout association, I would like to be able to follow these.

Hi Chris,

You can change the navigation background colors to the Page setting -> Design -> Customize -> Select Red preset or if you already have one customize then it will show you the Customize Skin options. From there proceed to the 'Navigation' part where you can edit/select the color you want to edit.

As for changing the color for the Mobile Menu icon upon hovering the icon/button, we will try to release a newer version of the Crimson Theme next week to allow this customization.

I had already worked out how to change the navigation background, it's just the Mobile version that I was struggling with.

Hi Chris,

You can edit the new function for customization of 'Global Link Color' in the Page setting -> Design -> Customize -> Select Red preset or if you already have one customize then it will show you the Customize Skin options. Click this Link for reference.

I am posting this screenshot as an example if you change the 'Global Link Color' and it will also change the mobile menu color when hovering it. Hopefully it helps.

I have updated but don't have the option to change the global link colour.

When I do the update, it will only update to 2,2,0 not 2,2,0,0

Have you tried to clear your cache in the website from this https://peru-hummingbird-389022.hostingersite.com/index.php/dashboard/system/optimization/clearcache? Let me know if this fix your problem on the customization of Global Link Color.

Hi Chris,

As Rob mentioned above, yes I was able to do a fresh install of concreteCMS version 9.3.7 with Crimson Theme version 2.1.0 running a PHP8.3.14 and updated the Crimson Theme from 2.1.0 to 2.2.0 and manage to access the new function for changing 'Global Link Color' and was able change the color.

Hi Chris. The office is closed for the weekend, but I will ask Neil on Monday about this. I believe that the global link colour was addressed in the latest release. I will ask him to do a fresh V9 install and install an older version of the theme and then upgrade to the newest version to see if there is something going awry in the upgrade process.

Do you think I should try deleting the theme and reinstalling it. Will I loose aly work if I do this.

Hi Chris,

Before reinstalling the theme, you might need to back up the your current files for safety of your data then you can try reinstalling the theme to test it if it works.
