I can't see any option to change the settings, what am I missing?

Hi Chris,

You can edit the new function for customization of 'Global Link Color' in the Page setting -> Design -> Customize -> Select Red preset or if you already have one customize then it will show you the Customize Skin options. Click this Link for reference.

I am posting this screenshot as an example if you change the 'Global Link Color' and it will also change the mobile menu color when hovering it. Hopefully it helps.

I have updated but don't have the option to change the global link colour.

Hi Chris,

As Rob mentioned above, yes I was able to do a fresh install of concreteCMS version 9.3.7 with Crimson Theme version 2.1.0 running a PHP8.3.14 and updated the Crimson Theme from 2.1.0 to 2.2.0 and manage to access the new function for changing 'Global Link Color' and was able change the color.

Hi Chris. The office is closed for the weekend, but I will ask Neil on Monday about this. I believe that the global link colour was addressed in the latest release. I will ask him to do a fresh V9 install and install an older version of the theme and then upgrade to the newest version to see if there is something going awry in the upgrade process.

Do you think I should try deleting the theme and reinstalling it. Will I loose aly work if I do this.

Before reinstalling the theme, you might need to back up the your current files for safety of your data then you can try reinstalling the theme to test it if it works.

Hello Neil, I've left this for a while now as I have been busy doing other things, today I completely deleted the concrete install and started with a fresh install and assigned the crimson theme to the new install, It's still not updating and working as expected and quite frankly I can't be bothered to mess around with this any more.
Can I ask for a refund for the theme, please? Chris.

Process

Ask for support from the extension's listing. Login with the account you purchased the product with and go back to the page in the marketplace. You should see a support link in the side nav. (There's also a direct link in your order email.)
Work with the developer in that thread to try to resolve the issue.
If the issue can not be resolved, ask the developer to approve a refund.
The add-on/theme developer can issue a refund which will give you a site credit here.
You can use that site credit to buy something else, or make a withdrawal request from your My Account area to simply get your cash back.

Chris That information is out of date. There used to be a support forum directly linked to support for an addon. This was a theme/license area where the customer and the developer could directly chat - This had a request refund button at the top for the customer and an approve button for the developer. When Portland redeveloped their site many of these functions were removed and no longer exist. However, if you email them, you can tell them I approve the refund.
